A gluten free pizza base using their own dough mix with Bite Me Spices Popped Cherry BBQ Sauce used as the base sauce. Launched at the first ever Towcester Food Festival, a roaring success we can now post the recipe for all to enjoy.
The Most Marvellous Popped Cherry Pizza Recipe
You will need...
1 x Most Marvellous gluten-free pizza base
1/3 bottle Bite Me Spices Popped Cherry BBQ Sauce
100g quick-fry steak, cubed
1/2 small red onion, sliced
1/2 yellow pepper, diced
4 chunks of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed of excess water
6 cherry tomatoes, sliced
75g Cheddar cheese, grated
Follow the instructions on the Most Marvellous Pizza Dough Mix packet to prepare your pizza base.
Cube your steak into bite-size pieces and toss in a bowl with 1tsp olive oil and a good few twists of black pepper. Tip into a hot non-stick frying pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, then set aside.
Spread a liberal amount of Bite Me Spices Popped Cherry BBQ Sauce over your pizza base (about 1/3 bottle).
Scatter over your steak, peppers, onion and spinach, then top with the grated cheese and tomato slices. Bake in the centre of a hot oven for around 6-8 minutes until piping hot. ENJOY!
