Perfect for barbecue season
You can use our Adobo Seasoning in many ways, it's great for cooking most meats and firm fish over coals on a hot sunny day. It can be used as a dry rub straight from the pouch, or add cider vinegar and a small amount of olive oil to marinade prior to cooking.
For an easy dinner recipe try this delicious way to pep up chicken thigh fillets. We've cooked these on a chargrill pan but they'll be great cooked under the grill.
To serve 4 you will need
600g chicken thigh fillets, skin removed
2 tbsp Bite Me Spices Adobo Seasoning
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
Salad of your choice
Juice of half a lime
- Mix Adobo Seasoning, cider vinegar and olive oil to a runny paste. Add chicken thigh fillets and coat them well. Leave to marinade for at least 2 hours, overnight if possible.
- Heat a chargrill pan until smoking hot. Add the chicken thigh fillets so they lay flat in the pan. Cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side. Check for doneness and serve with salad of your choice.
- Squeeze over the juice of half a lime and serve.
